About us

My journey into the world of business exits began with a fundamental realization.

Most business owners leave millions on the table when they sell, not because their businesses lack value, but because they don’t understand how buyers think and what drives premium valuations.

Since co-founding my first M&A advisory firm in 2015, I’ve had a front-row seat to dozens of business transactions.

I’ve watched brilliant entrepreneurs who built successful companies accept offers that valued their life’s work at a fraction of its true potential.

More painfully, I’ve seen deals fall apart at the eleventh hour because sellers weren’t properly prepared for the rigorous due diligence process that sophisticated buyers conduct.

These experiences drove me to develop a different approach.

Rather than waiting until owners decide to sell and then scrambling to make their businesses “presentable,” I created a systematic framework that transforms businesses into premium assets long before they hit the market.

This is not the common “putting lipstick on a pig”.

The approach is about fundamental operational improvements that create real value.

My proprietary audit framework, refined through 23 comprehensive business evaluations, examines 47 critical factors that buyers scrutinize during due diligence.

But here’s what makes it different: instead of just identifying gaps, I help owners understand the buyer’s perspective.

Why does recurring revenue matter so much?

How do buyers calculate risk?

What operational improvements can double or triple your multiple?

When you understand the answers to these questions, you stop guessing and start building strategically.

Through my work with online businesses, from SaaS companies to digital agencies to e-commerce brands, I’ve discovered that most owners share similar challenges.

They’re technically proficient at delivering their product or service, but they’ve never learned how to build a business that can thrive without them.

They have customer concentration risk they don’t recognize.

Their financials tell a story, but not the story that maximizes value.

Their operations run on tribal knowledge rather than documented systems.

The Exit X framework I’ve developed addresses these challenges systematically.

We don’t seek quick fixes or superficial improvements.

The secret is in transforming how your business operates at a fundamental level.

When implemented properly, owners typically see operational improvements that would be valuable even if they never sold.

Reduced stress, better margins, more predictable revenue, and the ability to step back from day-to-day operations.

But the real magic happens when it’s time to exit.

Businesses that have gone through this transformation become acquisition targets that multiple buyers compete for.

They command premium multiples because buyers see a well-oiled machine with growth potential, not a risky investment that depends on the founder’s presence.

My approach is hands-on and collaborative.

I don’t believe in theoretical advice or one-size-fits-all solutions.

Every business is unique, and every owner has different goals for their exit. Some want to maximize price above all else.

Others care more about their team’s future or their company’s legacy.

Many want to stay involved post-sale. Understanding these nuances and crafting a strategy that aligns with your specific goals is where the real value lies.

The online business landscape is evolving rapidly.

Aggregators are becoming more sophisticated.

Multiples are compressing in some sectors while exploding in others.

Buyer preferences are shifting.

Staying ahead of these trends and understanding their implications for your exit strategy requires constant market monitoring and deep industry connections.

This is where my ongoing involvement in the M&A space pays dividends for my clients.

If you’re an online business owner thinking about your eventual exit, whether that’s in one year, or five the decisions you make today will directly impact the check you receive at closing.

The operational improvements you implement, the financial story you craft, the market position you build.

They’re the difference between a good exit and a great one.

My mission is simple: ensure you capture the full value of what you’ve built.

Because after years of sacrifice, late nights, and calculated risks, you deserve an exit that reflects the true worth of your creation.

The journey from where you are today to that successful exit is what I call finding your Exit X – that unique combination of timing, preparation, and strategy that unlocks maximum value.

Let’s have a conversation about where your business stands today and what it could be worth tomorrow with the right preparation. Your successful exit story starts with understanding the gap between your current reality and your full potential.

“After 7 years running my digital agency, I was burnt out and ready to exit, but three brokers told me my business was ‘unsellable’ because revenue dropped 40% when I stepped back. Zhivko showed me this was fixable, not fatal. We spent 14 months documenting processes, restructuring the team, and transitioning key client relationships. The transformation was remarkable – not only did we sell for $8.7M (original valuations were around $2M), but I actually enjoyed running the business again during the preparation phase. The buyer even kept me on as a strategic advisor, which gave me the best of both worlds.”

Why choose us

constant innovation

Our mission

Our mission centers on a fundamental belief: every online business owner deserves to capture the full value of what they’ve built. Too often, entrepreneurs accept suboptimal exits because they lack access to sophisticated exit planning that was historically reserved for much larger transactions. We exist to democratize this expertise, making institutional-quality exit preparation accessible to digital entrepreneurs.

Our Vision

We envision a future where online business owners approach their companies with the end in mind from day one. Just as venture-backed startups build with exit strategies central to their planning, we believe every digital entrepreneur should understand how their daily decisions impact eventual sale value. Our vision extends beyond individual transactions to reshaping how the entire ecosystem thinks about value creation and business building.

Our methods

Our methodology combines rigorous analysis with practical implementation, recognizing that insights without action create no value. We begin with our proprietary 47-point audit framework, examining every aspect of your business through the lens of a sophisticated buyer. This isn’t a generic checklist but a dynamic assessment tool refined through dozens of successful exits. Each element connects to specific valuation drivers, helping you understand not just what needs improvement but why it matters to your eventual exit price.
